From November 14 to 22, the Festival of Italian Creativity will take place in the USA, organized by the Consulate General of Italy in Boston, which has been designated by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the 2024 Capital of Italian Creativity in the world.

The Festival of Italian Creativity aims to showcase the best of Italian talent in various fields, celebrating Italian genius and creativity.

The event also includes a program over three days on science, technology and business, with representatives from Italian universities and research centers: the first day, November 19, is dedicated to the theme “Life science”, the second day is dedicated to “Climate Energy Sustainability”, the third day to “Advanced Materials and Manufacturing, Electronics, Space”.

Cross-cutting themes, such as artificial intelligence, as well as arts, architecture, and design, will be integrated into the discussions, exploring how technological evolution will influence our daily lives and future living.

Wednesday, November 20, the themes related to climate change and its consequences will be addressed, with a focus on sustainable energy sources. Experts from different fields will discuss how the most advanced technologies and business strategies will be the key to a sustainable future.

RAISE will also be present at this Festival, with a presentation of the activities of Spoke 4: Davide Giglio, Spoke 4 coordinator, will hold a presentation on November 20 at 2 pm entitled “Technologies for the sea and ports: the RAISE project”, within the panel Excellence Experiences from Italy.

The panel is structured as follows:
– Francesco Petracchini (CNR): CNR for climate change
– Davide Giglio (University of Genoa): Technologies for the sea and ports: the RAISE project
– Daniele Del Rio (University of Parma): Challenges for a sustainable nutrition
