Successful launch of the P7 Program: Advanced AI & Robotics Applications4SMEs
On Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 6:00 PM, the launch event for the P7 – Advanced AI & Robotics Applications4SMEs project was held at Talent Garden, Giardini Baltimora 1.
Promoted as part of the RAISE Training Program and coordinated by Spoke 5, the event was organized within the Bar Tech format. It brought together industry experts and entrepreneurs, providing a valuable opportunity for discussion on the challenges associated with the adoption of advanced technologies by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The P7 program aims to support innovative SMEs in Liguria in their technological and entrepreneurial development journey, offering specific expertise in business management and the adoption of advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics solutions.
The initiative targets entrepreneurs, managers, and professionals operating in technology-driven SMEs, innovative start-ups, and academic spin-offs.
The event represented a significant opportunity to discuss the skills and training required to overcome technological and competitive challenges. During the round table discussion “Startup, Skills, and Training”, sector experts and professionals engaged in an insightful exchange, including:
– Marco Barbagelata, Digital Transformation Officer at STAM and member of the Young Entrepreneurs Group of Confindustria Genova
– Alberto Clavarino, Digital Innovator, Marketing & Communication Expert
– Francesco Cricchio, Founder and CEO of Brain
– Tobia Lorenzani, Co-creator of the Bar Tech format and Founder of Mr Dee Still
The discussion was moderated by Renata Paola Dameri, Scientific Director of the RAISE P7 project and professor at the Department of Economics at the University of Genoa. She highlighted the significance of the initiative: “the goal is to provide professionals from SMEs with free managerial training that complements their existing high-level technological expertise with business management and strategic skills. This approach aims to enhance SMEs’ ability to compete in dynamic markets such as robotics and artificial intelligence”.
The P7 – Advanced AI & Robotics Applications4SMEs will be structured through three training modules:
– “Business Strategy and Innovation” Module, aimed at those who require entrepreneurial and managerial skills to support business growth.
– “Introduction to Advanced AI and Robotics Tools and Process Redesign” Module, designed for those seeking to rethink and optimize their operational dynamics through the integration of advanced technologies.
– “DISSEM-INNOVATION” Module, conducted in person and intended for both target groups, to facilitate dialogue between research and business.
The event provided a valuable opportunity for networking and in-depth discussions, strengthening the dialogue between research, businesses, and institutions, and opening new perspectives for the adoption of advanced technologies within SMEs.
