AI and robotics for SME efficiency and digitalization: perspectives in comparison

On April 2, 2025, at 5:30 PM, the roundtable discussion “AI and robotics for SME efficiency and digitalization: perspectives in comparison” will take place at Talent Garden – Giardini Baltimora 1. This will be the first in-person event of the P2 | BASIC AI & ROBOTICS APPLICATIONS4SMES project, part of the RAISE Training Program, coordinated by Spoke 5.
The event will explore the impact of artificial intelligence and robotics on small and medium-sized enterprises, highlighting both opportunities and challenges in integrating these technologies into traditional industries. Key topics will include efficiency, competitiveness, training, and knowledge transfer.
The discussion will be divided into two sessions. In the first, academic experts will analyze the potential of AI and robotics and the conditions for their effective implementation. In the second, startups and entrepreneurs will examine business opportunities and collaboration strategies between innovation and traditional enterprises.

Speakers: Daniele Pallavicini (President, Young Entrepreneurs Group, Confcommercio Genova), Tobia Lorenzani (President, Startup Committee, Confcommercio Genova), Matteo Camia (President, Young Entrepreneurs CNA Genova and serial startup founder), Stefania Capuzzi (Founder, Fair to Share)
The event will provide a platform for discussion between academia, emerging businesses, and established companies, aiming to identify sustainable technology adoption models and effective collaboration strategies.
