Innovation Showcase: the RAISE up event at RAISE VILLAGE 2024
Monday, 28 October 2024, in the context of the RAISE VILLAGE at the Cisterne di Palazzo Ducale in Genoa, will take place the first event of the RAISE up Mentorship Program promoted by Spoke 5 and supported by PwC Italia and I3P – Incubator of the Polytechnic of Turin.
The Innovation Showcase is a one-day event dedicated to innovation, with the aim of promoting connections between companies and researchers and is aimed at innovators, entrepreneurs and company managers who want to learn about the 12 innovative solutions selected for the RAISE up program.
During this event, participants will have the opportunity to:
– Explore new solutions;
– Expand their network;
– Initiate strategic collaborations.
On this day, 12 teams will have the opportunity to present their innovative solutions, divided into four specific areas:
Domain 1: Design of inclusive technologies to redesign the urban experience
1. HTS+ | Device to automatically detect the frailty index of an individual from a sensorized glove

The event will begin with a welcome session that will provide participants with information on the objectives, path and results of the RAISE up Program and a moment of inspiration and connection between the academic, research and entrepreneurial worlds. Subsequently, participants will have the opportunity to visit the exhibition stands of the RAISE up Village, consult the posters and observe the prototypes of the participating teams, allowing them to exchange ideas and delve deeper into innovative projects.
Networking will be a fundamental moment of the Innovation Showcase: it will be structured with guided tours of the stands and one-to-one meetings, facilitating meetings between the various actors.
The one-to-one sessions will promote the exchange of feedback and opinions on projects and possible future collaborations.
For those who want more structured support, an information desk dedicated to the presentation of the RAISE up Program will be available, offering a space for new interested parties.
After the lunch break, the day will continue with further bookable one-to-one sessions, interspersed with training talks that will provide useful insights to encourage technology transfer and the creation of joint projects.
